TL;DR
Lumics integrates with most major communications tools to quickly share alerts (Slack, SMS, email, PagerDuty, OpsGenie, etc.)
While Lumics easily ingests SNMP, WMI, NetFlow, syslog, IPFix, and other types of data we can often get more insightful info from your devices via API.
Lumics can integrate with your PSA of choice to share/update device information, forward and respond to alerts, and create tickets or trigger other actions.
Lumics can integrate with almost any other system, application, or platform in your environment via API and webhook.
When we encounter new hardware devices we currently don’t monitor, it’s relatively quick and easy for us to add them to our collection.
Slack
Receive and acknowledge alert notifications for various types of events. This is a bi-directional integration.
SMS
Receive various alerts, with ability to suppress or snooze specific alert types during off hours.
Receive alert notifications with details, as well as automated reports at specified intervals or triggered by a specific event.
PagerDuty
Receive alert notifications with details.
OpsGenie
Receive alert notifications with details.
AutoTask
Share device configurations, receive alert notifications with details and acknowledge, receive and store automated reports, and automatically generate various ticket types based on event type. This can be a one-way or bi-directional integration.
Meraki
The basic data available from Meraki devices via their own dashboard is not as robust as the type of data available through API, so Lumics monitors Meraki via an API connection. Combining this data with info from other devices gives you the ability to prevent problems from arising and quickly responding to issues when they do happen.
Cohesity
Lumics gathers all the important data you’d need from your Cohesity (cluster?), can visualize it in our powerful graphs, and generate more customizable alerts than what you’d get from their built-in tools.
NetApp
Lumics gathers all the important data you’d need from your NetApp (cluster?), can visualize it in our powerful graphs, and can generate more customizable alerts than what you’d get from their built-in tools.
Cisco Voice
Lumics gathers critical voice-related data from Cisco Voice infrastructure, can visualize it in our powerful graphs, and can generate more customizable alerts than what you’d get from their built-in tools like RTM.
PSAs
Most MSPs and many enterprise clients of Lumics use some kind of Professional Services Automation (PSA) platform to track projects, tickets, receive and manage alerts from various systems, and communicate internally as well as with clients. Lumics can integrate with most PSAs that have documented and accessible APIs. Lumics also has an easy-to-use API library and webhook capability so our clients can import Lumics data seamlessly into their existing systems.
Other Devices & Platforms
Lumics works with most major hardware platforms and devices our customers use in their network and systems environments. However, if we currently aren’t monitoring a specific type of device or component of your network we’re happy to add it to our collection for you (usually at no additional charge).
